PostNL is one of the premier courier service providers in the Netherlands that provides mail and parcel services for domestic and international orders. The company was initially incorporated as TNT NV in 1997 to phase the monopoly of the national postal service in the Netherlands. In 2011, when the TNT express organization was separated from the TNT company, the remainder of the company was named PostNL. The company delivers five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday to maximize its operational efficiency. Since Mondays have a typically low order volume for delivery, the company curtailed its delivery services on Monday from 2013.

1) What happens if my package exceeds the weight limit in PostNL?

If your package exceeds what is mentioned on the shipping label, you will receive an email from the PostNL team asking you to cover the additional costs according to the revised weight of your package. Once you make the payment, the PostNL team will send your parcel in transit. This saves you the the hassle of recollecting the parcel and printing a new shipping label. 

2) How do I track my parcel with PostNL?

PostNL uses to track and trace technology to track all of its parcels. You can open the track and trace portal from the PostNL website or mobile app. Once you open the page, you will have to add the recipient's recipient's order number and zip code to locate your parcel within your system. If the status displayed on the page is incorrect or has been stuck, you can always contact PostNL customer support to get an update on your parcel.
