What is Sequel Logistics?

Sequel is a secure logistics company headquartered in Bengaluru, founded in 2004. It moves valuables, mainly bullion, jewellery and other high-value goods, for banks, refiners, metal exchanges and jewellers. Its domestic network covers 700+ towns and 8,000+ pin codes, which is why brands shipping expensive orders often add it alongside a regular courier.

What is the Sequel API?

It’s how businesses book and manage Sequel shipments from their own systems. You create an order, Sequel returns an AWB in the same call, and you can cancel or track it later. Access works through a token that your Sequel relationship manager shares with you.

How do I connect Sequel to ClickPost?

It takes a few minutes once you have the token. Add Sequel as a courier partner in your ClickPost account, paste in the token from your Sequel relationship manager, and hit submit. You don’t need to load an AWB series in advance, because Sequel generates one with every order.

Does ClickPost generate shipping labels for Sequel orders?

Yes, for forward shipments. We create the label and return it in the order creation response, so your warehouse can print and pack without logging into Sequel. Reverse pickups don’t need a label, so none is generated for those.

How do I track a Sequel shipment?

Customers can enter their docket number on Sequel’s website. If you ship through ClickPost, we pull Sequel’s status updates into your dashboard and show customers a tracking page with your branding. They also get alerts as the order moves, which matters a lot when someone is waiting on an expensive piece of jewellery.

Can I track multiple Sequel shipments at the same time?

Yes. Every Sequel order sits in one ClickPost dashboard with its latest status, next to orders from your other carriers. Your team doesn’t need to check dockets one at a time on Sequel’s site.

Does ClickPost support Sequel reverse pickups?

Yes. Sequel reverse runs as its own integration on ClickPost. When a customer raises a return, we create the pickup order with Sequel and track it back to your warehouse.
